The first international racing pigeon in Thailand was conducted in 1987 under the name of "Asia Pacific Racing Pigeon Conference" in which all 3 Thai Racing Pigeon Associations at that time (Thai Homing Pigeon Federation, The Championship Homing Association and The Friendship Association) unhesitatingly agreed to manage. This race had been received great attention and support not only from Thai Fanciers but from all over the world. This race was considered to be the first international racing pigeon of the world and became a buleprint of international races for others as well.

From that time till now it is 22 years already, we do still continuously organize the International racing pigeon in Thailand either "F.C.I. Thailand Grand Prix, F.C.I. Thailand World Championship, Thailand Open etc." This is 12 Years in a row with organized by Thai Homing Pigeon Federation.

With great support and "fully trusted" from fanciers both Thai and foreigner in our "good experience" and services, this is the greatest drive or some could say motivate us to continue organize this international race in our country "Land of Smile : Thailand."
